A 44-year- old man was addmited
to the hospital for an opacity in the right upper lobe, enlargement of
mediastinal and left supraclavicular lymph nodes.
Bronchoscopy revealed stenosis of the
right upper subsegmental (2b) bronchus, and bronchila brushing was performed
(Fig. 1,2,3). The patient received chemoterapy (VAC) which resulted in
complete remission of the disease.
Two years later he was admitted to the
hospital again, this time for bilateral parahilar pulmonary infiltrates,
and enlargement of bilateral mediastinal and left supraclavicular lymph
nodes. Cytologic examination (FNA) of supraclavicular lymph nodes was performed
(Fig. 4,5). |
