A
20-year-old Caucasian male presented with a history of a painless
slowly enlarging mass on his left thigh not associated with antecedent
trauma or neurovascular compression symptoms. On examination, a 15 x
10cm mass was noted on the medial aspect of his thigh. A computerized
tomographic (CT) scan and a magnetic resonance imagines study (MRI)
revealed the mass in the adductor compartment of the left thigh. The
patient underwent an en-bloc resection of the tumor, which was
intra-operatively noted to be 29 X 33cm in size and required resection
of a part of the adductor magnus muscle group with the tumor.
