CASE 304 - Ž. Pohar-Marinšek, Slovenia
A 42-year old woman noticed a tumor in her left brest-axillary junction. Only a few fragments of  ductal epithelium were obtained with FNAB. The tumor was growing slowly and 1.5 years latter it was firm, lobulated and measured 10x10 mm. There was no skin retraction or nipple discharge and no palpable axillary lymph nodes. Mamography revealed a well delineated lesion measuring 12x10 mm, seen only on the lateral projections and judged to be a lymph node in m. pectoralis. FNAB was repeated and the patient operated. A few months ater the operation a lesion appeared in her left axilla.
