CASE 105 - F. Del Piero: Pennsylvania,  USA
The carcass of a 1-week-old Jersey female calf in poor nutritional condition with pericardial, perirenal and bone marrow gelatinous connective tissue with no fat and decrease mass. There is a left unilateral reddish discoloration of the lung with consolidation (sinking in formalin). The thymus is decreased in volume and size. Complete neuropathological examination did not revealed gross abnormalities.
