| A 64 year old woman presented
with rapidly growing mass in right thyroid lobe of one-two months duration.
Fine needle aspiration was performed and patient underwent surgery. For pathological evaluation on frozen sections, right lobe of thyroid gland was received measuring 9,0x7,5x7,0 cm. Grossly, hemorrhagic and necrotic solid tumor mass has been replacing almost entire lobe of gland. |
